I’m Zoe, a 23 year old freelance dance and performance photographer based in London and Glasgow. I hold a First-Class Honours Degree in Contemporary Dance meaning that I bring a unique perspective to my photography—one rooted in a deep, lived understanding of movement, form, and timing. This insider’s knowledge allows me to anticipate and capture a dancer’s most powerful and expressive moments with precision. I don’t just photograph movement—I feel it. My background in dance helps me connect with the emotion and energy behind each gesture, allowing me to document not just what the body is doing, but what it’s saying. As Martha Graham once said, “The body says what words cannot.” This quote lives at the heart of what I do. When I dance, my soul comes alive — it's where my magic lives. My greatest hope is to help you find your own magic too, and to feel free in your own movement, however that looks for you.
Ever since I was little, you’d find me with a camera in hand, capturing the world around me. Five years ago, I bought my first professional camera — and it was the best decision I’ve ever made. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with so many incredible, talented individuals, capturing their uniqueness, movement, and spirit. Whether it’s a solo shoot, or a live performance, I pour my whole heart into capturing your essence, your story, and hard work — all while making sure the experience feels smooth, empowering, and enjoyable. For me, photography is so much more than just taking a picture — it’s an experience. One that I hope empowers you, lifts you up, and allows you to feel truly seen. My wish is that our shoot leaves you feeling more in tune with yourself, and that your images become something you return to with pride and joy, time and time again.
At the age of 7 I was diagnosed with ADHD. For a long time, it felt like a barrier — but now, I see it as my secret strength. I’m often described as a ‘ball of energy,’ and I bring that enthusiasm and creative spark into every shoot. I know that everyone has different needs, and I always adapt to your pace. Whatever you're comfortable with, I’ll meet you there. You should never feel like you have to hide behind a mask or fit into a box — you were meant to be exactly who you are, and that’s who I want to capture.
